About JD Quote II

JD Quote II is a program that allows John Deere dealerships to list and create sales quotes for units stored in IntelliDealer in the JD Quote II system. If your dealership is licensed to use the JD Quote II interface, once a quote is accepted by a customer in the JD Quote II system, the dealership can then create a corresponding invoice for the unit in IntelliDealer. Quotes that have yet to be accepted can also be viewed on the Prospect Board screen within IntelliDealer.

In order to properly integrate the JD Quote II program to IntelliDealer, you must be licensed for feature number 6220 and complete the following configuration steps:

  1. Activate the following security switches:

    1. Access JD POs on the Authorization List for Product Support - Equipment Invoicing screen.
    2. Access JD Quote Upload on the Authorization List for Product Support - Prospect Board screen.

  2. Configure the Supplier Employee Number for each salesperson that will be using the JD Quote II system on the User Profiles screen.

  3. Configure the Supplier Customer Number for each customer that will be using the JD Quote II system on the Geographic & Business tab.

  4. Configure the Token required for the JD Quote II system to transmit data to and from IntelliDealer on the John Deere Quote II - Equipment tab.

  5. Configure how units will be listed and priced in the JD Quote II system on the John Deere Quote II screen.

Once you have completed the configuration steps outlined above, JD Quotes that are accepted by a customer will be listed on the Access JD POs screen, allowing you to create an invoice in IntelliDealer. Pending quotes that have yet to be accepted will be listed on the Prospect Board screen.

Note:  Accepted quotes will be updated on a nightly basis and pending quotes must be updated manually using the John Deere Quote Upload link on the Prospect Board screen. There is also an option to manually update the list of available quotes on the Access JD POs screens if you do not want to wait until the nightly process refreshes the quotes.
