To open the News screen, click the Maintain News link on the Utilities screen.

The News screen allows you to view, create, and maintain current articles, promotions and customer service messages for your dealership employees and customers. News articles created using this screen will appear on the IntelliDealer Home screen in the News section and on the News screens of the ID MobileAccess and MyDealer applications.

The following search fields appear on the News screen:

Field Description
Search Search for articles that contain a specific word or phrase.
Select Date Range Search for articles based on the Start or Expiry date of the article.

The following fields appear on the News screen:

Field Description
Subject The headline of the news article.
Summary A brief summary of the information contained in the full article.
Creation Date The date on which the selected article was created.
Category

The category associated to the article.

Note:  This field is for informational purposes only.

Start Date The date on which the article will be made available for users.
Expiry Date The date on which the articles will no longer be available for users.
Active

Denotes whether the selected article is active for the system.

Note:  Even if the selected article is active, it will only be displayed to users if the current date is within the date range specified by the Start Date and Expiry Date fields.

Click a Subject to edit to the associated news article on the News screen.

Click the Need to create a news item? Click here to add link to create a new news article using the News screen.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the News screen:

Button Function
Close Closes the News screen and returns to the Utilities screen.
