Product Support - Equipment Profile

Click the desired link to access the Work With Security Switches screen where you can control access to the security switch for selected users or user groups.

Security Switches -Equipment Profile
Access Gives the user access to the Equipment Listing screen through Product Support > Equipment > Equipment Profile.
Add Equipment Allows the user to add a new equipment on the Equipment Listing screen. The link Need to create a new machine? Click here to add will appear if the switch is on.
Change Equipment Allows the user to save equipment profile changes. When enabled, a Save button appears on the Profile tab.
Delete Equipment Allows the user to delete a newly created equipment profile on the Profile tab. When enabled, a Delete button appears.
Access Attachments Gives the user access to theAttachments tab on the Equipment Profile screen.
Modify Attachments Allows the user to save changes on the Attachments tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Modify Memos Allows the user to save changes on the Memos tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Access Parts List Gives the user access to the Parts List tab on the Equipment Profile screen.
Modify Parts List Allows the user to save changes on the Parts List tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Access eSales Gives the user access to the Sales tab through the Update/View Profile link on the Machine Details screen.
Modify eSales Allows the user to save changes on the eSales tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Access Multimedia Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab through the Update/View Profile link on the Machine Details screen.
Add Multimedia Allows the user to add a new multimedia link on the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the link Click here to add new link appears.
Modify Multimedia Allows the user to save changes on the Add Link screen. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Apply Base and Option Changes Allows the system to update base and option charges to the unit the user is editing.
Allow Copy of Equipment Allows the user to copy equipment on the Equipment Listing screen. When enabled, the Copy piece of equipment link appears.
Allow Stock Number to be Changed Allows a user to change a units stock number. This applies to the stock numbers that have on order (O) status.
Access GPS Gives the user access to the GPS tab through the Update/View Profile link on the Machine Details screen.
Modify GPS Allows the user to save changes on the GPS tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Access Custom Screens Gives the user access to any custom screen created for Equipment Profile.
Modify Custom Screens Allows the user to save changes on any custom screen created for Equipment Profile.
Protect Supplier/Financial Information Prevents the user from accessing the Supplier/Financial Information section on the Profile tab, by locking down the fields that appear.
Access Warranty Dates Gives the user access to the Warranty Dates tab through the Update/View Profile link on the Machine Details screen.
Modify Warranty Dates Allows the user to save changes on the Warranty Dates tab. When enabled, a Save button appears.
Access Units in Other Divisions Allows the user to search for and access units within other division locations.
Include 60% Rental Revenue in Sales Cost Appears in the Sales Cost column on the Equipment Costing screen and adds 60% of the unit's rental revenue into the unit's equipment costs.
Include HS Records in Sales Cost

By selecting the check box you are requesting that the system add an HS ( History - Service) value under the Sales Cost column of the Equipment Costing screen. That HS value is taken from matching G/L Accounts that have included salesperson costs.

Allow Quick Add on Order Units Allows the user access to the Quick Add on Order Units screen through the Equipment Listing screen. When enabled the Quick add on order units link appears.
Allow Delete Quick Add on Order Units Allows the user access to the Delete Quick Add on Order Units screen through the Equipment Listing screen. When the switch is turned on the Delete quick add on order units link will appear.
Price To Load On Equipment Listing Screen

This switch controls the equipment value field that will be displayed on the Equipment Listing screen; either None, List price, Cost, Net Book value, or Reference amount.

Note:  If Cost or Net Book value are selected and the user is configured to see Sales Cost Only (as specified in the Equipment Costing field on the User Profiles screen), the value displayed on the Equipment Listing screen will be the same value that is calculated for the Sales Cost field on the Equipment Costing screen.

Mandatory Sale Account If the Cost Of Sales account is loaded on the Sale Account in the Chart of Accounts, it would be added to the Sale Account field in an Equipment Invoice.
Update Original Cost When activated the Original Cost of a stock unit is automatically updated.
Show Telematics on Main tab When activated the unit telematics for an equipment listing is displayed on the main tab of the Equipment Profile.
Show Telematics on GPS tab When activated the unit telematics for an equipment listing is displayed on the GPS tab of the Equipment Profile.
